Six categories, ~40 questions, plain-English answers. If yours isn't here, drop a line to hello@sonuswealth.com - we add to this page as questions come in.
A calm, intelligent view of your whole UK financial life. Seven surfaces - MyMoney, Cashflow, Tax & Estate, Risk, Timeline, Decision Engine, Ask - built on one underlying truth. Updated live. Plain English throughout.
UK households with multiple financial accounts who want one calm view of the whole picture. Particularly useful from age 35 onwards when life starts including pensions, property, ISAs, family planning, IHT - but a 25-year-old with two ISAs and a graduate scheme will get value too.
Yes - that's the design. Every figure has a plain-English translation. Every UK term (IHT, taper, BPR, MPAA) is explained on its first appearance. If you can't read it, we treat it as a bug.
Yes. Household sharing is included on every plan. Link a partner and the picture covers both of you - one subscription, joint view, individual privacy options for sensitive details.
Web-first at launch (works beautifully on mobile browsers). Native iOS + Android apps Q4 2026. Same engine, same picture.
All supported as first-class objects - not bolted-on placeholders. We hold them in your overall view, track their tax position, and include them in IHT and Cashflow modelling.
Held in your view, tracked by value, modelled into your overall wealth. UK tax implications (e.g. CGT on non-UK property, deemed-domicile rules) modelled where relevant.
Residency and domicile flags drive the tax engine. Expats and non-doms supported, with the rules around remittance basis, deemed-dom, and split-year treatment respected.
Headline numbers + the conditions. Full breakdown on the pricing page.
Yes. Full sonuswealth, every surface, every feature - no card needed at signup. We don't believe in deliberately feature-gated trials.
£9/month, or £79/year (saves £29). Single tier - no lite / pro split.
The Planning Pass is a one-off payment of £29 that grants full access to all 7 surfaces, projections, and PDF downloads for 30 days. No recurring subscription or auto-renewals. After 30 days, your dashboard transitions to a read-only state. You can upgrade to a continuous monthly or annual plan at any time.
Continuous membership keeps your financial life optimized against policy changes. UK tax rules, allowances, and SIPP rules shift constantly (e.g., Spring Budgets and the April 2027 SIPP tax changes). Remaining subscribed ensures your plan is evaluated against live tax laws, tracks your Cost of Inaction in real-time, alerts you ahead of critical ISA/allowance deadlines, and keeps a live, paperless bridge connected to your financial adviser (IFA) for annual reviews.
Possibly over time, but your signup price is locked for 12 months. If we raise it, you stay at your rate through your renewal.
Yes. No contract. Cancel from settings - immediate or end-of-cycle, you choose.
Full refund within 30 days, no questions. Annual subscribers get pro-rata refund any time. See billing & refunds for the long version.
50% off the annual plan for NHS staff, UK armed forces, and registered UK charity employees. Email hello@sonuswealth.com from your work address to enable.
UK datacentres. Encrypted at rest (AES-256), in transit (TLS 1.3), with per-user keys for sensitive fields. No cross-border transfers without explicit consent. Full detail on Trust & Security.
No. Never. Not advertisers, not data brokers, not anyone. It's in the company's articles.
No. Your numbers are not used to train any model. Period.
No, and that's intentional. Sonuswealth is not FCA-authorised and we don't give regulated financial advice. We provide information and guidance about your own financial picture. For a personal recommendation, speak to an FCA-authorised IFA — the FCA Register lists every authorised adviser. The Phase 2 Open Banking layer (2027 H1) will use an FCA-authorised AISP partner; authorisation for the IFA Practice Mode tier is being explored separately.
No. Information and guidance, not regulated advice. Every Ask reply and Decision Engine output shows the rule, source, assumption and consequence — we tell you what's true, not what to do.
Yes. One click. CSV + JSON exports of every account, asset, decision, scenario, and note.
Yes. Export first if you want, then one-click delete. We confirm in writing within 24 hours.
You get 90 days' notice + a full export bundle. We don't hold your money or assets, so there's nothing for you to recover - just the data, which we hand back.
Email hello@sonuswealth.com. We respond within one business day and credit reporters publicly with your permission.

Both. Practice mode gives you the firm-side controls (D6 questionnaire, Decision Engine, compliance trail). Your clients use the same engine on their own at home - you and they always read the same picture.
Yes - Growth tier and above. Your firm's brand on the client-facing view, our engine underneath.
Built UK-first from a blank sheet - same problems handled, fewer legacy assumptions. Tiered per-firm (not per-seat) so you can roll it out widely without rising costs. Built around modern web tech, so no Java applets or "please use Internet Explorer" moments.
Phase 1: CSV / Excel import from your back-office. Phase 2 (2027 H1): API integrations with Intelliflo, Iress, Xplan, Voyant. Practice tier supports SSO and custom API access. Open Banking live-connect for client data also lands in Phase 2.
Yes. One month free for any new partner firm, full functionality, no card required.
Household waves: 2026 H2. Practice mode for partner firms: 2027 H1. Waitlist signups get earliest access in the order they joined.
Phase 1, yes - built UK-first. Other jurisdictions are not on the immediate roadmap. We'd rather do one country well than five badly.
Every major UK bank - HSBC, Barclays, Lloyds, NatWest, Santander, Nationwide, plus every challenger (Monzo, Starling, Revolut, Chase, Atom, Tide). Phase 1: import via the bank's own CSV export or scan a statement. Phase 2 (2027 H1): Open Banking live-connect for daily auto-refresh. Full list on How it works.
Aviva, Standard Life, Scottish Widows, L&G, NEST, Smart Pension, Pension Bee - direct read where available, statement upload otherwise. Adding providers in waves.
Yes. Scottish bands fully supported (different rates and bands above £25k). Welsh rates ready (currently match English). NI follows English unless devolved.
Yes - self-employed income, expenses, payments-on-account modelled. Director-shareholder mode (salary + dividend mix) supported. Limited company accounting integrations on the way.
Straight answers, not marketing comparisons. We respect the alternatives - they all do something well. We just believe the UK household needs something they don't.
An IFA provides regulated financial advice and custom recommendations for your specific path. Sonuswealth doesn't replace an IFA — we complement their service by helping you build a clear, up-to-date picture of your household wealth so you can make the most of your planning sessions.
ChatGPT knows UK tax rules in general. It doesn't know your numbers, doesn't remember the conversation next week, and doesn't run a live engine on your case. Sonuswealth holds persistent memory of your household, applies the rules to your position, and re-runs every Budget. ChatGPT is a clever colleague; Sonuswealth is your file.
Snoop and Plum are great budgeting apps - receipts, subscriptions, round-ups. We don't compete there. Sonuswealth starts where budgeting ends: pensions, ISA strategy, IHT modelling, cashflow projections, the April 2027 change. Use both.
Aida (Money Means) is a great UK plan-side conversational app. We share the plain-English principle. Sonuswealth goes wider - full balance sheet + 7 surfaces + tax + estate + risk, with Sonu as one of those surfaces, not the whole product.
Your spreadsheet is brittle, frozen in time, and dangerous when wrong. Sonuswealth replaces it with a live engine that knows UK tax, runs scenarios in seconds, never gets out of date, and doesn't break when you accidentally Ctrl+Z too many times.
Your banking app shows you one bank. Sonuswealth shows you all of them - plus pensions, ISAs, mortgages, life cover, property, crypto - in one view, with projections and tax baked in.
Those are practitioner tools (built for IFAs). Sonuswealth Household is the consumer side; Sonuswealth Practice Mode is the practitioner side - same engine, different surface.
We answer every email. If your question's not here, it likely will be after you ask it. Drop a line to hello@sonuswealth.com.
